Spaying
Spaying prevents females from pregnancy and can help your dog or cat live a longer, healthier life. Spaying will not change your pet’s personality. By spaying your female pet, you’re protecting her against bacterial infections, reproductive tract diseases, and several types of cancer.
The surgery will involve removing your pet's ovaries and uterus while under anesthesia. We follow strict protocols and continually monitor your pet’s vital signs to help ensure her safety. Please see the descriptions under Anesthesia and Patient Monitoring for more information on what we do to keep your pet safe.
After spaying, the heat cycle halts in female dogs and the pacing and crying that happens with female cats. Most importantly spaying your pet will also help control the dog and cat overpopulation problem. Please
contact us
if you have further concerns in deciding if you should spay your pet.
Neutering
Neutering prevents male animals from reproducing, and can help your male dog or cat live a longer, healthier life. Neutering will not change your pet’s personality.
The surgery involves removing the testicles while the pet is under anesthesia. We follow strict protocols and continually monitor your pet’s vital signs to help ensure his safety. Please see the descriptions under Anesthesia and Patient Monitoring for more information on what we do to keep your pet safe.
Neutering your pet eliminates his risk for prostate and testicular cancer, as well as sexually transmitted diseases. Neutering will also reduce unwanted behaviors, including roaming, fighting, humping, and spraying. It will also help control the dog and cat overpopulation problem, keeping more animals out of shelters.

Soft Tissue Surgery
Did you know that we perform many types of soft tissue surgeries at our clinic? These surgeries are procedures that are not associated with bone, and can provide many benefits.
Common soft tissue surgeries on pets include the removal of masses or lumps. Most masses are found to be benign. However, occasionally they are more serious. Early removal and diagnosis are necessary to improve the outcome if the mass is cancerous.
Does your dog suffer from frequent ear infections? Surgical intervention can reduce the occurrence by improving airflow into the ear canal. Surgery can also help resolve several problems related to the eyes, including eyelashes damaging the cornea.
